Individual consultation

The advisory center for the blind and visually impaired has been operating since 1979 and is a service of the Bremen Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (Blinden- und Sehbehindertenverein Bremen e.V.), a self-help organization. All associations for the blind and visually impaired, along with their advisory centers, belong to the nationwide umbrella organization, the German Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (Deutscher Blinden- und Sehbehindertenverband e.V.) in Berlin. From there, specific information is forwarded to all relevant institutions, ensuring qualified and up-to-date advice.

At our advice center, affected individuals receive professional support. We offer confidential advice tailored to your individual situation regarding your rights and options for continuing to live independently and autonomously.

In addition, a selection of small devices, aids, and guides are available to make everyday life easier. Family members and caregivers can also find comprehensive information. The advice center serves as a contact point for professionals in the field.

Family members and caregivers can also use our services! We guarantee that we meet the nationwide standards for counseling centers for blind and visually impaired people.
