The advisory center for the blind and visually impaired has existed since 1979 and is an institution of the Bremen Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, a self-help organization.
All associations for the blind and visually impaired, along with their advisory centers, belong to the nationwide umbrella organization, the German Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (Deutscher Blinden- und Sehbehindertenverband e. V.) in Berlin. From there, specific information is forwarded to all relevant institutions, ensuring qualified and up-to-date advice.
You can obtain current information, for example about events organized by our association as well as other regional services for visually impaired people, by calling our information hotline. The information is usually compiled and recorded every Monday. In case of last-minute schedule changes, updates will also be made during the week.
