German courses for immigrants with cognitive impairments

The project “Simply German – Strong Together” is a cooperation project of the German Red Cross Bremen District Association and the State Working Group for Self-Help.

“Einfach Deutsch – Gemeinsam stark” offers various services to immigrants with cognitive impairments: German courses, individual advice, referrals to leisure activities and a self-help group.

All services are free of charge and are supervised by an experienced team.

German courses

German courses for third-country nationals with cognitive impairments – practical, easy to understand, and supportive. The courses are individually tailored to the needs of the participants. Two teachers of German as a foreign and second language support the participants in their learning. There are two courses that take place three days a week and one shorter course that takes place one day a week.

We will be offering starting in November 2025 three different German courses

Course 3: Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:45 PM

Our accessible classroom is centrally located on the ground floor of the Netzwerk Selbsthilfe eV at Faulenstraße 31.
