The Federation of German Scouts, Bremen-Lower Saxony State Association, is looking for two social education professionals (25 or 15 hours per week) to strengthen the management team at the BDP Leisure Center Huchting, starting on September 1, 2026.

The Bremen-Lower Saxony branch of the German Scout Association (BDP) is seeking a qualified social worker (25 hours per week) to join the leadership team at the BDP Leisure Center in Huchting, starting September 1, 2026. The BDP is a nationwide, active, grassroots-democratic youth organization that operates in an anti-racist, anti-consumerist, and socially critical manner, is gender-sensitive, nature- and experience-oriented, and is non-denominational.
Tasks
- Part of the educational management team
- Open youth work and youth policy education
- Group and project work
- Guidance for volunteers, volunteers and interns
- Continuation of the existing and conceptual development of the educational work of the BDP
- Youth policy committees and networking as well as neighborhood work
- Office organization and house management
- Public relations and social media
- Cooperation with school
Tasks are assigned in consultation with the board and the local team.

- Payment in accordance with TV-L S 11b
- Special payments possible under the collective agreement
- 30 days of paid leave, special leave and educational leave
Requirements
- Identification with the guiding principles of the BDP
- Queer feminist, anti-racist and power-critical stance
- Completed studies in social pedagogy/social work or comparable qualification
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a skilled worker
- Working independently
- Teamwork skills
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours – including evenings and weekends
- fluent German skills, both spoken and written
- Experience in gender-sensitive/diversity-conscious/inclusive education is desirable
- Experience in open youth work, with young people with refugee and migration backgrounds, youth association work and/or leadership experience is desirable
- An open-minded, nationwide team of employees
