  • Support for quality assurance and quality development in the KiFaZ Bremen project
  • Monitoring and reporting of the KiFaZ Bremen project
  • Templates and impulses for the professional and strategic development of daycare centers in Bremen

It also provides professional support to daycare centers in further developing their programs in the areas of family education and support.

Accompanying offers

In addition to the process support provided by the KiFaZ service center within the framework of the development cycle and the available working materials, the following optional offers can be used by the daycare centers participating in the KiFaZ project.

We currently offer the following training formats and consultations:

  • education course “Specialist in Children's and Family Centers (KiFaZ) Bremen”
The course consists of 5 modules (8 days) covering the 5 development areas at the operational level and concludes with a certificate of completion as a “Specialist in Children's and Family Centers Bremen”. Practical assignments between modules promote the transfer of theory into practice.

The target groups for this training are social pedagogues (coordinators) and specialist advisors. The training strengthens their competence in shaping change processes in children's and family centers and in advising these institutions accordingly. Three training sessions are planned between 2021 and 2022. Depending on the available time resources of the KiFaZ service center, further sessions will be offered in 2022 if needed.

  • Basic Knowledge of
the Children and Family Center (KiFaZ): This offer is aimed at the pedagogical staff of participating daycare centers. In a two-and-a-half-hour online event, participants will be informed about the tasks and goals of a children and family center and their own role in the project will be strengthened, because a KiFaZ thrives with and through the entire team. Therefore, as many team members as possible should be familiar with the structure and goals of the project.
  • Management Workshop for Children and Family Centers (KiFaZ):
Managers within their institutions bear strategic responsibility and control over the "Development into a Children and Family Center (KiFaZ) Bremen" project and therefore have their own perspective on the project. To address the needs of managers involved in the project, workshops on various relevant topics are offered and addressed from their point of view. This event format also provides managers with an opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences.
  • Telephone consultation:
The KiFaZ service center provides institutions with a 3-hour time allocation per year for telephone consultations.
