As of September 1, 2026, the counselling centre “notruf – psychological counselling in cases of sexualised violence” is looking for a managing special representative on a part-time basis (20-22 hours/week).

The counseling center "notruf – psychological counseling for victims of sexualized violence" is a facility where people (male/female/diverse) aged 16 and over who have experienced sexualized violence receive psychological counseling and support. This applies to both acute and past experiences of sexualized violence, regardless of the type of assault. In addition to counseling clients, the work of the notruf also includes:

  • Networking/cooperation with other professional groups and institutions
  • Training courses; prevention and project work
  • Structural/political work

The counseling center is seeking a part-time (20-22 hours/week) managing director, starting September 1, 2026. The day-to-day operations will be delegated to the managing director by the volunteer board. The managing director will represent the organization as its legal representative to third parties.

They bring with them:

  • Completed university degree in administration, social management, business administration, social sciences or comparable qualification
  • Identification with the feminist principles of the association, as well as knowledge of and willingness to engage in power-sensitive leadership structures in the sense of feminist leadership
  • Strong communication skills, sense of responsibility and flexibility
  • Ability to organize independently and to work cooperatively in a team
  • Experience in financial management and independent budget management
  • Knowledge in relevant legal areas, ideally in association, budget and grant law
  • Sensitivity and willingness for professional self-reflection and differentiation in the field of work involving sexualized violence
  • Professional experience in the psychosocial field is desirable
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Access would be desirable

Your responsibilities include, in particular:

  • Financial management and financial planning of the specialist advisory center
  • Association administration for Notruf eV and the Förderverein Notruf eV.
  • Planning, preparation and monitoring of budgets and grant applications
  • Communication with authorities, tax advice and payroll accounting
  • Responsibility for personnel matters
  • Responsibility for data protection, occupational safety and fire protection
  • Tax matters
  • Creating transparency regarding content-related and financial processes vis-à-vis the board, general assembly, authorities and team
  • Close collaboration with the team on legal and organizational matters
  • Possibly fundraising and grant acquisition
  • Possibly public relations and networking
