The parenting course combines the goals of the parent coaching concept with the advantages of group work. Especially when dealing with boundary-crossing behavior by their own children, many parents are held back from sharing their feelings of being overwhelmed by feelings such as shame and fear.

The group setting provides space for exchange, open discussion of topics, appreciation, and mutual support. Furthermore, through the parent coaching concept, parents learn about different perspectives, strategies for action, and concrete steps for dealing with their children's problematic behavior.

They strengthen these skills in the following areas, among others: regaining parental presence, strengthening the bond with one's own child, restoring the necessary parental authority and ability to act, and applying de-escalation strategies.
