Welcome to the childbirth preparation course for women with an evening for partners.

The course takes place on Wednesdays for five sessions from 5:00 PM to 7:50 PM, totaling 14 hours. A partner or accompanying person may attend the fourth session.

Pregnancy and childbirth are very special moments. During this time, many questions and wishes arise; a childbirth preparation course helps prepare for this new phase of life.

Topics include:

• Birth process
• Learning different breathing techniques during childbirth
• Possible influence during childbirth using movement and relaxation techniques
• Getting to know different birthing positions
• Methods of pain relief
• Breastfeeding
• Postpartum period, the sensitive phase after birth
• as well as dealing with the baby and parenthood

The costs for the women are covered by the health insurance, the partner evening of 2.8 hours costs 20 euros and is reimbursed by some health insurance companies.
