Institute for Quality Development in the State of Bremen (IQHB)

The Institute for Quality Development in the State of Bremen (IQHB) advises and supports Bremen teachers, school principals, the institutes (LIS and LFI), and stakeholders in the education sector in the further development of educational quality in the state of Bremen. A key task of the IQHB is providing tools for the qualitative development of schools and teaching.

Tasks

• Evaluation of the quality of the education sector and education management
• Quality development in the education sector, e.g., improvement of school and teaching quality through external and internal evaluation of schools and teaching, or of the performance development of Bremen students
• Further development of diagnostic and screening procedures
• Education reporting
• Advisory and support services
