The IMPROVE training platform is part of the European training platform for domestic violence, which aims to increase the confidence in action, reflection and self-care of first responders and professionals.
Within the framework of the EU-funded IMPROVE project with seven partner countries, two innovative tools for combating domestic and sexual violence were developed and adapted to the situation in Germany. In accordance with the Istanbul Convention, they promote initial support for victims and the training of professionals. The training platform is free of charge and accessible without registration or download requirements.
Trainers, teachers and interested professionals can find in-depth information and use the diverse materials free of charge, taking into account the Creative Commons license for further education and teaching.
The training platform is sector-specific, with nine modules each addressing four relevant areas of intervention:
- police
- Medicine / Healthcare
- Social services / Advice centers
- Justice
A comprehensive training manual supports the development and implementation of training and the use of the training materials provided.
