As of November 1, 2026, the German Red Cross Bremen District Association is offering an exciting and responsible position as a pedagogical specialist (m/f/d) in Mobile Care Bremen (MoB) at our location on Ludwig-Quidde-Straße, full-time with 39.0 hours per week, permanent employment.
The Bremen district association of the German Red Cross (DRK) is one of the largest associations within the DRK and currently employs around 1,400 people in a wide variety of fields. Guided by the principles of humanity, the association is committed to the life, health, well-being, protection, peaceful coexistence, and dignity of all people.
Mobile Support Bremen is a residential youth welfare service for adolescents and young adults with particularly high support needs. As an alternative to group homes, these young people live in individual apartments owned by the organization and receive intensive, individualized, and life-world-oriented support. Through professional relationship-building, creative coping strategies, and a strong presence, we support them on their path from homelessness to independent living.
To strengthen our multi-professional team, we are looking for a dedicated educational professional to join us as soon as possible, who enjoys challenging relationship work and wants to accompany young people on their personal journey through life.
Your tasks essentially consist of the following activities:
- Building and shaping sustainable, reliable working relationships within the key worker system
- Support in finding perspectives and gradually becoming independent
- Promoting social skills and developing socially acceptable alternative courses of action
- Processing of individual life history and support in life planning
- Crisis intervention and participation in on-call duty rosters
- Cooperation with youth welfare offices, schools, training institutions and other cooperation partners
- Documentation, social-pedagogical diagnostics and networking
- Participation in cross-organizational small teams and peer consultation
