Mentor training and further education in workshops, residential facilities, child and youth welfare, refugee aid or educational institutions – this way the prospective professionals can benefit from your knowledge and experience!
Practice mentors play an important role in the training and support of professionals in the social sector. They support learning and development processes in everyday professional life, provide guidance, and help to connect theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
This training course is aimed at professionals from various social work fields – for example, from workshops, residential facilities, child and youth services, refugee aid, or educational institutions. It specifically prepares participants for the responsible role of a practice mentor and strengthens their own role in guiding and supporting trainees, students, or new employees.
The focus is on practical methods for designing learning processes, for appreciative communication, and for reflecting on one's own attitude and role. You will receive concrete tools to professionally support learners, to confidently give feedback, and to promote confidence in action in challenging practical situations.
The training offers space for exchange, practical exercises and the further development of one's own skills as a mentor – for professional and supportive guidance of future social workers.
