In this seminar, professionals learn to confidently manage teams, projects and group processes even without formal authority, to motivate employees and to professionally moderate conflicts.

December 4th to 5th, 2026

Employees of social institutions who are not in traditional management positions are increasingly being given more responsibility. This occurs as part of organizational development processes or during the redesign of services and projects. Suddenly, they find themselves in a position of perceived superiority within a group of hierarchically equal colleagues. This new role can feel unfamiliar at first. Often, they must navigate structural inconsistencies. They are faced with the task of motivating others to collaborate, guiding group processes, and mediating conflicts. However, the usual disciplinary infrastructure of managers is not available to them.

The seminar covers the following topics and exercises:

  • Methods for controlling and moderating team processes
  • How to moderate meetings effectively
  • Leadership skills and leadership styles
  • Motivating employees and dealing with conflicts
  • Dealing with structurally caused contradictions
  • Methods for controlling and moderating team processes
