Under the guidance of an experienced midwife, the course focuses on strength, endurance, and cardiovascular training tailored to pregnancy. In combination with this, learning specific breathing techniques needed for the various stages of labor is another key focus. Simultaneously, the course includes targeted training of muscle groups that require particular strength during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
Stretching techniques specifically adapted for pregnancy, as well as balance exercises that maintain body coordination during pregnancy, are taught alongside the course.
Exercise during pregnancy has been proven to improve the fitness and stamina you need for the upcoming birth and the subsequent postpartum period. At the same time, it keeps you fit for your professional and leisure activities.
