Postnatal recovery forms the basis for the initial reconnection with one's own body after childbirth. Once postnatal recovery is complete, many mothers ask themselves: "What's next?" The significant physical strain of pregnancy and childbirth, and the increased and often one-sided stress on the back, arm, and neck muscles from breastfeeding and carrying the child, make the transition back to "regular" exercise difficult. Many mothers simply don't feel fit enough to resume their original pre-pregnancy exercise program, which isn't necessarily tailored to the needs of new mothers. Furthermore, caring for their child considerably limits their flexibility.

The "Full-Body Workout for Mothers" course bridges the gap between postpartum recovery classes and (re)entering an active exercise program. Using your own body weight, you'll train your entire body, and you're welcome to bring your child(ren) along. We actively involve the child in the exercises, thereby increasing the training stimulus. This shared workout fosters bonding between mother and child and offers shared enjoyment. You'll train your body with like-minded women without the pressure of having to keep up.

The course aims to build muscle strength across the entire musculature, with a focus on the muscles most affected by motherhood: abdominal, back, and neck muscles. Relaxation is also an important part of the course, and you will learn how to calm yourself and your child, enabling you to manage stressful everyday situations with composure.

A postpartum recovery course should be completed beforehand.

For the course you will need a towel, comfortable sportswear, sports shoes and something to drink.
Please bring a towel or blanket for your child and a toy if you like.
