Neurodivergence doesn't begin in school: Even in early childhood, diverse ways of perceiving and experiencing the world emerge. But how can educators recognize, categorize, and, above all, support these differences with appreciation?
This professional development course invites you to sharpen your perspective and reflect on your own attitudes. You will gain in-depth knowledge about the causes and manifestations of autism and learn to recognize early signs. The central question is always: How can we strengthen children in their uniqueness and support their development in a resource-oriented way? Furthermore, the course offers concrete guidance for everyday educational practice: How do I proceed if I suspect autism? How do I conduct sensitive communication with parents? And which networks can help me provide the best possible support for children?

Requirements for participation
You can participate in the training course…
- if you work as an educational professional in a daycare center, nursery or childminding service with children aged 0 to 6 years.
You have the option of booking this training course as educational leave. The course is recognized under the Bremen Educational Leave Act of December 18, 1974 (Bremen Law Gazette, p. 348 – as amended). To take educational leave in Bremen, you can proceed as follows:
- You apply for educational leave from your employer for this training course.
- On our registration form, please indicate that you are booking this training course as educational leave and have applied for it with your employer. You will then receive a registration confirmation from us specifying the educational leave to submit to your employer.
- Your employer will approve your educational leave.
- After the training event, you will receive a certificate of participation, which you can present to your employer as proof.
